At Sollefteå Health Center, you will be part of an open and committed team that together is responsible for our over 14,000 registered patients. Here, you will find good collegial support and a clear ambition to make a difference for our patients through a warm and professional approach. As a resident physician in Sollefteå, you will be part of a medical team with family doctors, residents, and junior doctors from all over Sollefteå and Kramfors primary care. The medical team meets one morning each month for collaboration and exchange of experiences. We offer a stimulating and educational environment where you will gain broad competence, supervision, and the opportunity to work independently with patients of all ages.

We are now looking for a resident physician who has a genuine interest in the breadth and variation of general medicine. The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.

During the first year of your residency, you will manage a list of 550 patients. Over the years, the list will increase to a level similar to that of a general specialist with about 1100 registered patients. Your responsibilities will include supervising junior doctors and other less experienced colleagues. The position involves work in the evenings and on weekends. You will work with:

• Outpatient work, home visits, phone contacts, and to some extent digital healthcare contacts.
• Examining, investigating, assessing, and treating patients.
• Working in a team with other professionals, but also working independently with your own practice.
• Medical participation in special housing, home healthcare, and child health care work during periods.
• Regular side duties.
• Certain primary care on-call duties, as well as standby on-call duties.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a Swedish medical license and is eligible to start residency training in general medicine
• Has worked in the Swedish healthcare system in recent years
• Has excellent knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
• Has a B driver's license
