The Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic is today one of the largest clinics in the country for the care of patients under the Forensic Psychiatric Care Act (LRV). The clinic is also tasked with caring for particularly demanding patients under the Compulsory Psychiatric Care Act (LPT). The clinic currently has 115 care places divided into 9 departments but is facing an expansion where the number of departments will increase to 10 and the care places to 135.

We are now looking for caregivers to join us at the Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic. The position is a full-time temporary position with a start date to be agreed upon for 2 months from June to August.

As a caregiver at the Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that takes care of the patient's daily needs for forensic psychiatric care.

You will, among other things:

• Plan, implement, and follow up on care and nursing interventions
• Accompany patients during outdoor activities
• Social activation
• Support patients in daily activities
• Contribute to the department's ongoing operations as part of a health-promoting context. This may include cleaning, running errands, preparing meals, and other practical tasks performed together with colleagues

You will be introduced by experienced staff according to the onboarding document and training in the data environment. There you will learn more about clinic and department routines, safety engagement, working methods, documentation, and communication.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a basic education for caregivers in psychiatric care, nursing assistant training, the program for mental health issues, or criminology program, or other education that we assess corresponds to these
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage if you

• Have previous experience in psychiatric or forensic psychiatric care
• Have additional language skills
• Have a B driver's license
