Hello! We are excited that you are interested in the position of care assistant at Bergviken Care and Nursing Home! The facility, which consists of 16 departments, is beautifully located next to the Kallkällan forest area at Majvägen 22. We are now looking for colleagues for two of our departments, one of which specializes in severe illness.

Job Responsibilities
The work involves providing support and service based on the individual needs of the residents and ensuring that they receive good care. You will work in a team with various professionals, and all work is based on the needs, possibilities, and wishes of the residents. With a focus on the residents, you will work to develop well-planned and flexible solutions using our common values. As a care assistant on the department, you will closely collaborate with the unit manager, coordinator, nurse, and rehabilitation team. Using a person-centered approach, we work together to help the residents become their best selves and focus on possibilities rather than limitations. Documentation is an important task, and you are responsible for documenting in Combine according to the Social Services Act. In the department for severely ill patients, you may also work with more advanced medical tasks such as tracheostomy, tube feeding, and dialysis.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and a genuine interest and commitment to working with people. Furthermore, you should meet the following criteria:
- Completed care assistant education
- Experience in the field
- Good digital competence, meaning you can handle computers/software and phones/apps with ease. You also have the ability to quickly learn new digital systems.
It is advantageous if you have:
- Good knowledge in dementia care
- Experience with tracheostomy care, tube feeding, medication pumps, and/or dialysis.
- Knowledge of Finnish.
