The home care service provides individually assessed services in the form of support and personal care in regular housing. The services aim to strengthen the individual's ability to cope independently and make it possible for them to remain at home.

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you will provide services in the form of support and personal care in the client's home. We work based on quality and safety for the clients. The goal is satisfied clients, with their needs being the basis for the provision of services. You will meet the client's needs and involve them in the development of the action plan. The role also includes administrative tasks such as documentation, scheduling, and representative roles related to various work areas.

Qualifications

Three-year care program, nursing assistant training, or other education deemed equivalent. We are looking for someone who is easy to collaborate with, positive, flexible, and understands the importance of good communication and a good approach towards both clients and their relatives as well as colleagues. A computer and mobile phone are used as work tools, and it is desirable that you have good computer skills. Your tasks will include documenting and communicating with various parties, which requires good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form. Personal suitability is highly valued. Under the national minority language law, Gällivare Municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for a position in Gällivare Municipality.

A driver's license is required.

Working Hours/Duration

100% permanent employment. Working hours include days, evenings, and weekends. A probationary period may be applied.
