IT Support

The Digitalization Department belongs to the regional executive administration and consists of 65 employees who provide internal IT services for the entire region and support the administrations with digital development.

IT Support is a unit within the Digitalization Department that provides service and support to all of the Region's operations in the areas of product supply, telephony, licenses, identities/permissions, and project management. The unit consists of 13 employees. You will belong to the product supply grouping, which consists of five engaging and positive colleagues.

We are now looking for an IT Technician

We are now looking for an IT Technician for our warehouse function, which consists of two employees in a well-functioning team. We offer a solid introduction and opportunities for development.

Your tasks

In your role as an IT Technician with us, your tasks will include the following:

• Image management of clients
• Delivery and configuration of new hardware as well as retrieval of used hardware.
• Hardware and software support
• Management of inventory registers
• Inventory and warehousing
• Program installations via management tools
• AD administration of clients
• Environmental sorting of electronics
• Scripting (powershell)

Who are you?

We prefer that you have a high school IT education and preferably work experience in the IT sector. You have a driver's license for manual transmission.

You have good knowledge with a strong interest in IT. You master the Swedish language well in both speech and writing.

As a person, we believe you are positive, service-oriented, attentive, enjoy working in a team, quick to learn, and comfortable working directly with end customers. You should be able to solve problems independently and take your own initiatives. Since you will be working in a large IT operations organization, it is important that you have a good ability to work systematically with tasks such as technical documentation and case management.

About the Regional Executive Administration

As part of Region Gotland, the regional executive administration is responsible for corporate governance, strategic planning, and case preparation. We also work with regional development and cultural and leisure activities. We serve as internal support to the region's other administrations. Together, we care about quality and efficiency for those we serve. Through our responsibility for emergency services in Gotland, we are also an important part of citizens' safety and security.
