As a summer substitute in elderly and disability care, you will help create safe, meaningful days for individuals who need support. This is a job where you grow, develop, and make a difference every day.

We have operations both in urban areas and in the countryside where we work days, evenings, weekends, or nights according to a schedule.

Habo municipality applies a bonus system for summer substitutes, in addition to salary.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a summer substitute, you support people in their daily lives at home or in a residence.

Examples of job duties:

• personal care (e.g., showering, toilet visits, supervision)
• cooking, serving, or food delivery
• cleaning, laundry, and other daily tasks
• social activities, walks, and conversations
• shopping and escorting
• assistance with medication (requires delegation)

Some clients may have pets.

Before you start, you will receive paid introduction, training, and shadowing so that you feel secure in the role.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference and enjoys working closely with people. You will meet clients with different physical and intellectual needs, so you need to be adaptable and flexible.

Requirements

• You are at least 18 years old
• You speak and write Swedish very well
• You can document what happens during the work shift
• You are comfortable working both independently and in a team
• You are at ease helping both women and men in their daily lives and care

Meritorious

• Driver's license (B)
• Experience or education in care and support
• Availability to work the entire summer
• We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.
