JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to work in Kalmar Municipality's short-term or respite care at Villa Linné. It is an educational, developing, and fun job. You will be an extended arm for the care recipients and have the opportunity to help where it is truly needed; no day is like the other!

Villa Linné offers temporary accommodation intended for rehabilitation after illness, respite for relatives, or as a waiting period for permanent care and nursing homes. Working as a nursing assistant at Villa Linné requires that you can handle a very varied workload and quickly adapt your work as care recipients with different needs move in. At Villa Linné, nursing assistants collaborate closely with nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, unit managers, and care coordinators. It is not uncommon for care recipients with multiple diagnoses to arrive, requiring you to have various medical delegations.

We work from a health-promoting approach, which means that you as a nursing assistant should be present as support in daily activities and encourage the care recipient to remain as active as possible in their daily life. The work includes tasks such as planning support, care, and service, as well as being able to establish and work from implementation plans.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a nursing assistant diploma. In this role, you should be able to perform many health and medical tasks by delegation.

To succeed in this role, you need to have the ability to prioritize, both independently and together with colleagues. You should enjoy working with various IT systems to write implementation plans for care recipients and make different types of orders.
