Hjorted and Gamleby

We are now looking for licensed nurses for our units in Gamleby and Hjorted.

Your Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you will meet your patients in their home environment, which provides security for the patient. It is a very mobile job. By making several home visits each day, you have the opportunity for a change of environment. We conduct home visits in urban areas, rural areas, and in the archipelago.

Our work involves everything from simpler medical interventions to interventions with advanced medical equipment and technology. Part of the work includes end-of-life care. As a nurse, you will educate and delegate tasks and responsibilities to staff in our special accommodations and home care services. You are responsible for following up and evaluating the planned interventions. We work in teams where several different professions collaborate around the patients. The teams include care staff, unit managers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nurses to provide a comprehensive view of the patients.

As a nurse with us, you have an independent job where you plan and organize your work yourself. This gives you great freedom in your job. Continuous development work is ongoing within the organization to improve conditions for our patients. You will have ample opportunity to participate in this work and contribute with your thoughts and experiences. We have an educational plan within the organization and offer opportunities for specialist training.

Your Competence

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. For newly graduated nurses, we can offer an introductory program with extended introduction and support in your new role as a nurse.

We are looking for someone who wants a mobile job, takes responsibility, and works independently. You will go on home visits where you meet your patients, so you need to feel secure in your role and be self-sufficient in your work. It is important that you have good empathetic skills, good collaboration skills, and can communicate with others in a responsive and constructive manner. The role also requires that you are secure and stable, that you have self-awareness, and can seek help when needed.

You will plan your job independently, which means you need to be able to organize and prioritize your work. If the situation requires it, you may need to change your planning, so it is important that you are flexible and can see opportunities in changes.

For this position, a B driver's license and experience driving manual transmission vehicles are required.
