The Municipal Executive Administration is the administration of the municipal council. About 100 employees work here in finance and procurement, communication, IT, administration, business, tourism, HR and payroll, switchboard, security, and law.

As the project manager for the establishment of Campus Ystad, you will play a central role in coordinating, driving, and developing the work to create a vibrant and attractive campus environment – in close collaboration with municipal operations, educational actors, businesses, and other external parties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the development of a concrete plan for the establishment of Campus Ystad from planning to implementation and political anchoring.
  • Drive dialogue and collaboration with educational providers, municipal companies, businesses, authorities, and other stakeholders.
  • Be responsible for creating and following up project plans, timelines, budgets, and goals.
  • Gather and structure needs and wishes from various actors to ensure a campus environment that meets future demands.
  • Monitor and analyze opportunities for external funding and be involved in application processes.
  • Communicate the project's progress, results, and opportunities to management, partners, and the public. Contribute to developing and establishing long-term structures for collaboration around Campus Ystad.

The role involves working across organizational boundaries and being the spider in the web between many different actors. It is a coordinating and developing assignment where you have significant responsibility for driving the process forward and creating engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS

We see that you have:

  • Relevant university or college education.
  • Documented experience in leading complex development or establishment projects, preferably within the education sector, public sector, or business.
  • Good ability to build and maintain relationships and networks across organizational boundaries.
  • Experience working systematically with project planning, finance, and follow-up.
  • Experience in dialogue and collaboration with external actors, such as educational providers, companies, and authorities.
  • Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience working with external funding and project applications is an advantage.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Placement:

The position is located in the department for Growth and Collaboration in Ystad Municipality. Understanding local public and private structures is an advantage but not decisive.
