Your Role

We are growing and need more people in our production in Karlskoga, and we are looking for you who want to work as an assembler. The job as an assembler at Saab means that you, together with your team, assemble parts of our products. Together, the team is responsible for quality, delivery, and efficiency.

A natural part of the job is to work with continuous improvements. You need to have a positive attitude towards changes and be able to communicate easily with others. We also have high demands for motor skills, endurance, and precision as required by the job.

The job as an assembler includes, among other things:

performing assembly
inspecting products
actively reading and understanding instructions, drawings, and other documents in both Swedish and English
contributing to continuous improvements
being able to clearly communicate the status of your work and any deviations.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with experience from the industry, or other work experience that we consider relevant for the position. We believe that you who are applying have a positive attitude, are meticulous, good at working in teams, and are proactive in your areas of responsibility. We place great emphasis on personal suitability as our operations require a mature and responsible approach. We also have high demands for collaboration skills and responsiveness within the organization. Experience in mechanical and/or electrical assembly is an advantage, as is technical education.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have good knowledge of both Swedish and English, as the job requires you to understand and absorb information in both languages in both written and spoken form.

The assembler position is located at the Björkborn industrial area in Karlskoga.

The role belongs to the IF Metall agreement area, and we apply fixed-term employment for 12 months.

We apply different forms of shift work, and the schedule varies depending on which department you are employed in, so it is a requirement that you can work shifts. Working hours may change during the employment period.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, there may, in some cases, be requirements for certain citizenship.
