What does the role include? 

Svekon is on a growth journey and now needs another project manager to meet customer demand. Your task is to take on Svekon's clients' exciting assignments, which involve leading medium-sized projects from development stage to delivery. You will have the privilege of having an office and prototype workshop under the same roof, allowing you to work very creatively and practically. 

Examples of tasks: 

• Responsible for budget and timeline 

• Responsible for customer contact 

• Lead cross-functional teams 

Svekon's cross-functional teams consist of various competencies in mechanical design, electronics design, systems safety, ILS/documentation, programming, and supply chain. The groups vary in size – usually between 3 and 8 people depending on the nature of the assignment. 

We are looking for someone who has: 

• A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field 

• At least 5 years of work experience in project management, preferably in technology-intensive or complex environments 

• Understanding of and experience working within the frameworks of security protection and confidentiality  

• Good experience with established project methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, IPMA)  

• Strong communication skills and experience in driving projects with multiple stakeholders (clients, subcontractors, internal resources) 

• Good understanding of requirements management, system development processes, or product development  

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written 

It is a plus if you have: 

• Experience in project management within product development 

• Experience in sales or bidding work  

• Experience from the defense sector, public sector, or classified projects (e.g., FMV, Armed Forces, or defense industry)

• Experience working on projects within the framework of Swedish or international total defense

• Good understanding of the Armed Forces' material systems, especially within vehicles or marine environments
