We are now looking for a nursing assistant at Skogsgården in Motala. The position is between 75-85%.

The residence has 28 apartments and is built on two floors. Skogsgården was built in 1993, and the physical environment is nice with large areas and good apartments. Each floor is divided into two sides, each with seven apartments. Each side has common areas - living room and kitchen. The facilities are specifically adapted for dementia care. Here, elderly individuals with dementia live in a pleasant area.

•  You have a group manager who spends most of their time working closely with you in the operations. Becoming a group manager can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant.

• The elderly are invited to participate in daily tasks they have previously performed or are interested in now and can manage, e.g., helping to prepare meals, participating in laundry tasks, wiping tables, watering flowers, etc.

• Every week, you as a contact person can plan free activities together with your resident one-on-one.

• Through our holistic concept for elderly care, The Good Day, we provide our residents with individualized care based on consideration, integrity, and choice. We start from each person's needs, focus on the healthy aspects, and strengthen the resident's identity and independence.

As a nursing assistant, you are incredibly important!

Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their way of living and their habits. You see each person and interpret what they need. At the same time, you learn a lot about care, aging, and how to meet people.

You are closest to the resident and therefore have a key role in the team with the nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. You also participate in welcome conversations, care planning, and write social documentation.

Your experience and knowledge

We prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant and have worked for a few years in elderly care focusing on dementia care. Good computer skills and experience in documentation are also advantageous. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you share our values and have the right qualities, we will support you and provide opportunities for growth.
