About the position

We are now looking for a procurement officer to strengthen our purchasing unit during a parental leave.

You will be part of the central purchasing unit organized within the finance department. The unit's goal is to work category-driven to best enable cost-effective purchases and thereby contribute to achieving efficient operations with high quality and good economic management. The current focus of the unit is to continue developing our category management work and our contract follow-up.

In your role as a procurement officer, you will drive procurements through the entire purchasing process and ensure that the municipality makes good deals in accordance with applicable legislation and the municipality's goals. As a procurement officer, you will work project-oriented, fact-based, and cross-functionally. You will have many contacts both internally within the municipality's various areas of operation and externally with suppliers. We are looking for someone who wants to develop and improve the public procurement in Täby municipality together with your colleagues in the purchasing unit and the operations.

The position offers an opportunity to primarily work with service procurements, focusing on services in the social and care sector. In this area, the municipality works with both LOU, LOV, and dynamic purchasing systems. With us, you will work on projects of varying complexity – everything from more strategic procurements to more standardized call-offs.

Your tasks will mainly consist of:

Independently lead operations in the procurement work from start to finish within the framework of the municipality's purchasing process
Conduct analyses within the framework of the purchasing process, such as spend analyses, market analyses, and risk analyses, and translate the analyses into business proposals
Identify areas for improvement to add value in the purchasing process
Provide support and advice on purchasing-related issues
Participate in and contribute to the development work of the purchasing unit
Stay updated on relevant supplier markets
Support the operations or the municipality's central contract managers with certain parts of contract follow-up

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a relevant post-secondary education in economics, purchasing, logistics, law, or similar, or equivalent competence acquired in another way.

The work requires that you are good at planning and organizing your work and are comfortable driving projects forward in a clear and results-oriented manner. You need to be able to speak and write fluently in Swedish.

You have good knowledge of applicable procurement legislation and experience from working with dynamic purchasing systems and LOV systems. It is an advantage if you have experience working in the public sector.

As a person, you are driven and have a structured, flexible, analytical, and solution-oriented working style. We place great importance on your personal qualities.
