Sandviks Bryggan is a restaurant located in the vibrant harbor of Sandvik on northern Öland. With the sea as our closest neighbor, we offer our guests good food, drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere in one of Öland's most beloved coastal environments. The restaurant is relatively newly established and has built a strong reputation among both locals and visitors since the summer of 2025. Job responsibilities

As a sous chef, you are the second highest chef in the kitchen and act as the restaurant manager's right hand. The role includes both operational and administrative tasks to ensure that the kitchen operates efficiently and smoothly.

The responsibilities include, among others:

• Daily work in the kitchen and cooking
• 
  
• Planning and organizing kitchen work
• 
  
• Responsibility in the absence of the head chef
• 
  
• Ensuring quality, hygiene, and routines
• 
  
• Collaboration with the restaurant manager and other staff
• 
  
• Contributing to the development of menus and working methods

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience as a chef, preferably in a leadership role
• 
  
• Is responsible, structured, and stress-resistant, and has experience working long shifts
• 
  
• Has good collaboration skills and clear leadership qualities
• 
  
• Has good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen routines
• 
  
• Speaks Swedish and/or English
