JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The food unit is a large workplace within the municipality with approximately 27 kitchens in various forms where food is prepared in central units for smaller receiving kitchens. New for Vimmerby municipality is that we have just transitioned to a structure where we deliver hot meals from central units.

We cook from scratch using local ingredients, and our kitchens are modern with fine machines that help prepare the approximately 3,500 daily portions. As a chef, you will work in a varied environment and are tasked with preparing delicious and nutritious meals for our guests every day together with your colleagues.

As a pool substitute, you will work in a Food and Cleaning Pool, starting from a common base and from there you will go to the facility you are assigned to work at for the day.

The pool fills in for absences, and being self-sufficient, flexible, and solution-oriented are qualities we highly value and are important in daily work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We would like you to have a chef's education or equivalent vocational training - at least 1 year. If you have experience from similar work in a kitchen, we consider it an advantage.
