Description

Do you want to be part of our placement team? As one of our placement officers is moving on to another assignment in the city, we are now looking for her replacement.

Spink is a consolidated placement and purchasing function for the social services and the administration for functional support in the City of Gothenburg. The department is organizationally part of the social administration South West, but the workplace is located on Stora Badhusgatan in central Gothenburg. Spink offers placement support to the administrations in individual cases and coordinates the administrations' systematic supplier follow-up as well as the administrations' work with needs supply and category management. Spink is also tasked with combating welfare crimes through systematic follow-up of private suppliers.

When a new region-wide IT support, PRIIS, is introduced at the beginning of 2026, Spink will also be responsible for system management, register maintenance, supplier follow-up, and legal support in complicated purchasing matters for nine of the other municipalities in the Gothenburg region.

Responsibilities

As a placement officer, you are responsible for receiving and processing placement requests from the social services and the administration for functional support. This means you are responsible for matching incoming placement requests against suitable providers in the service's provider register and then recommending one or more placement options that are suitable for the user in question.

Together with your colleagues in the placement function, you are also responsible for conducting operational visits where we follow up that the city's suppliers have good quality in their operations. You also participate in contract groups before framework agreement procurements and in dialogue meetings with internal and external providers. You are expected to stay updated on developments in the field and participate in collaboration forums together with the placing administrations.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or another higher education that the employer assesses as equivalent, as well as experience working as a social worker within municipal social services. Particularly meritorious is experience working as a social worker in the adult area (housing, addiction, and/or functional support). It is also advantageous if this work has been done within Gothenburg City's social services. Additionally, experience from provider operations as well as placement operations and supplier follow-up is meritorious. We also appreciate if you have experience participating in contract groups.

Good computer skills are a requirement, and it is an advantage if you have a driver's license.
