We are looking for a Social Worker for the Adult Authority

We are looking for someone who wants to work with social psychiatry and domestic violence.

Description

The position involves case management within social psychiatry and domestic violence. Previous experience in these areas or other authority operations is an advantage. Great emphasis is placed on your personal suitability for the role.

At the Adult Authority, you will be part of a workgroup with a positive work environment where you receive collegial support, close supervision, and external guidance.

The Adult Authority consists of a unit manager, senior social worker, housing coordinator, and social workers who handle financial support, reception of newcomers, housing issues, substance use and dependency, social psychiatry, and domestic violence.

Responsibilities

Your primary task is to investigate, assess, make decisions, and follow up on interventions under the Social Services Act. The work involves qualified investigative work characterized by a good approach, well-founded decisions, and high legal certainty. It also includes close collaboration with internal and external partners and contributing to the development of the unit's working methods and routines.

Qualifications

• Degree in social work or equivalent education that meets the requirements for the position
• Good knowledge of legislation in the area
• Strong ability to express yourself verbally and in writing
• Be flexible and resilient under stress
• Be collaborative but also able to work independently
• Be able to see development opportunities
• Driver's license (B)
