JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As our current unit manager is retiring, we are looking for someone who wants to continue developing the operations within LSS and be part of our team, which currently consists of 3 unit managers and 2 administrators.

The work as a unit manager within LSS is varied, content-rich, and meaningful. As a unit manager, you are responsible for operations, staff, budget, and workplace environment issues, which requires you to have the ability to see the big picture and work flexibly. Your placement is in Malung, and you will work closely with other unit managers within both LSS and other departments within the administration. Your area of responsibility includes personal assistance and daily activities.

The assignment as a unit manager involves leading and coordinating the operations that implement measures based on LSS (the Act on Special Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). You are expected to run an efficient operation with good quality within the financial framework, with the user in focus.

In your role, you coach the employees and are their closest support in daily work. An important part of your job is to create conditions for a good work environment and contribute to the continuous development of the operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a coaching and solution-oriented approach. You are a role model for your staff, and through your personal security, clarity, and ability to motivate and develop others, you create active employee participation and a good work climate. You are a self-driven manager with a structured working method, interested in leading and developing the operations and employees within given frameworks.

To meet the requirements for the role of unit manager for LSS, we prefer that you have a university degree in social work or another education that the employer assesses as equivalent. It is an advantage if you have several years of experience as a leader within LSS operations or alternatively within care and support.

You need to be able to express yourself well both verbally and in writing in Swedish and be accustomed to documenting. Experience working in various systems is an advantage. A driver's license is required as travel is involved in the position.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
