Production Engineer at Getinge in Växjö

Are you an experienced production engineer with a strong interest in improvement work and LEAN? Do you want to be part of a leading company that contributes to improving healthcare and quality of life? We are now looking for a production engineer for our client Getinge in Växjö!

About the position

As a production engineer at Getinge, you will be a key player in driving improvement projects and ensuring safe, cost-effective, and high-quality production. You will work closely with production managers and team leaders to develop and streamline processes. The role also includes:

• Initiating and leading improvement projects within production.
• Ensuring that routines and instructions are updated and followed.
• Monitoring and addressing deviations in safety, quality, and production times.
• Leading LEAN work and working on the development of the manufacturing process.
• Coordinating and driving changes when introducing new products or processes.

You will report directly to production management and be responsible for ensuring documentation is done according to the company's guidelines.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who has:

• At least 5 years of experience as a production engineer, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Good knowledge of LEAN and applicable standards.
• Solid experience with Microsoft Office.
• Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Personal qualities

We are looking for someone who is a positive and flexible team player with a strong drive to achieve results. You are analytical, structured, and have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience working in a changing environment is an advantage. Additionally, you are service-oriented and have an easy time collaborating and communicating with different functions.

The position is a 100% consultancy assignment. The position needs to be filled at the beginning of 2025, so selection will be ongoing. You will be employed by us at Adecco but will work at the client's site.
