Orthopedics is part of the Regional Healthcare Area Somatics and is located in three places: Sundsvall, Sollefteå, and Örnsköldsvik. Regional Healthcare Orthopedics conducts both planned and emergency activities, focused on orthopedic injuries and diseases. This also includes the Orthopedic Technical Department.

We are now looking for a specialist physician for Regional Healthcare Orthopedics. The position is based in Örnsköldsvik, but work in Sollefteå or Sundsvall may occur. The position is a permanent full-time employment, with start date according to agreement.

Specialist Physician for the Orthopedic Unit, Örnsköldsvik

As a specialist physician with us, you have great opportunities to plan your workday. The main job responsibilities are:

• Patient responsibility: medical investigation, assessment, and treatment of patients
• Administrative work
• Participation in on-call duty

You will work in a team with physician colleagues and other professionals.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed physician with specialist competence in orthopedics
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
• Has supervisor training for physicians

• Scientific merits (if applicable)
  • Certificate of academic degree, such as Doctor of Medicine or docent
  • Complete publication list
• Pedagogical merits (if applicable)
  • Certificate/documentation of teaching experience
  • Certificate of supervisor course (basic or specialist training)
• Clinical and other merits (if applicable)
  • Certificate of sub-specialization
  • Certificate/documentation of management assignments and/or business development

Verification of medical license and all relevant specialist certificates via the National Board of Health and Welfare (HOSP) will be conducted once the application has been received.
