Your new workplace:

We are now looking for a trained nursing assistant who wants to work with us at Matfors assessed care housing.

Matfors assessed care housing is a residence for the elderly with 66 apartments, staffed around the clock. The number of staff per shift may vary depending on the extent of care needs. The residence is centrally located in Matfors and consists of three buildings over three floors. Common areas for residents include a cafeteria, restaurant Va'Gott, and various lounges in the building.

We offer a meaningful and varied job with a focus on care and support recipients. With a professional approach, you will perform care and service tasks of good quality in the residents' ordinary homes, based on their needs. The needs may vary from simpler practical tasks to advanced and qualified care as well as health and medical interventions.

It is important to us that our care and support recipients feel safe and receive a good reception. We work together with several other professionals, such as nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, to ensure good and safe care that meets the individual's needs in the best way.

Your contribution as a nursing assistant:

The goal of our operations is to work for good and quality-assured elderly care that is based on the individual's needs and is built on the national value foundation.

In the role of nursing assistant, you contribute to the fulfillment of the organization's goals and are responsible for ensuring that tasks are completed. You provide service and care based on the individual's needs and decisions, with an ethical approach, and perform delegated health and medical interventions. You carry out your work professionally and meet care and support recipients with attentiveness and respect.

Your tasks include:

• Care and service to care and support recipients with high quality
• Contact management, which means having a coordinating responsibility for the care and support recipient
• Establishing and following up on the implementation plan in dialogue and with participation from the care and support recipient
• Cleaning, laundry, and cooking
• Documentation according to SoL and HSL
• Risk assessments regarding the care and support recipient and the work environment
• Guidance of newly hired staff and students
• Development of the operation and your own working methods
• Performing delegated tasks according to HSL

Your competence and experience:

We are looking for someone with nursing assistant education and approved grades. Experience from the profession or equivalent caring work is an advantage.

To succeed in the role, your personal qualities are very important, and we will place great emphasis on them in the recruitment process. You have the ability to understand someone else's perspective or situation without taking over their feelings. You are calm, stable, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions and enjoy collaborating with others. You can quickly adapt to new conditions, prioritize your tasks independently, and remain calm in stressful situations.

Communication with users is central, and we expect you to express yourself in a calm and clear manner when different situations arise. The position requires good written skills in Swedish as documentation is part of the tasks, as well as the ability to understand and engage with written information. The ability to acquire and maintain delegation according to HSL is also important.

Basic IT skills, experience in documenting in operational systems, and handling email are advantageous. A driver's license and access to a car are required, as public transport is limited at certain times and periods. Working hours are scheduled and include day, evening, and weekend shifts.
