Your Employment Offer
As a measurement engineer, you will operate in an international environment with close collaboration with colleagues in Zurich and Los Angeles, among others. You will primarily work on-site in Karlskoga but have the opportunity for remote work one day a week. The role is covered by a collective agreement with shorter working hours, providing good conditions for work-life balance.

Your Responsibilities
Development and Quality Assurance:
- Assess the measurability of new products in early development phases
- Provide input on drawings and 3D models together with R&D
- Optimize and develop measurement systems and techniques
- Implement new measurement technologies
Competence and Standardization:
- Lead internal skills development in measurement technology
- Work on standardization and Lean in the area
Collaboration and Technology Development:
- Collaborate with CNC and process engineers as well as international colleagues
- Engage with external stakeholders
- Contribute to strategic development for future automation and process integration
Good to Know
You will be part of the technology organization in Karlskoga, in a team that combines digital development work with practical testing in a workshop environment. Your closest team is NPI/PW, consisting of about 20 people, where you will collaborate with both experienced and newer colleagues.
You will also work closely with production, which includes around 340 employees, as well as our international sites. You will report to the head of NPI/PW. The work environment in Karlskoga is modern, bright, and clean, equipped with advanced measuring instruments and updated technology. Here, high precision is combined with practical engineering work and close collaboration between development and production.
Our Expectations
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology and a strategic way of thinking. You likely have several years of experience in measurement technology within the manufacturing industry and are used to collaborating between R&D and production. Your background could be as an engineer, measurement technician, or CNC operator, and you have a strong interest in precision and development in the field.
You are proficient in 2D and 3D CAD and have a good ability to read and interpret drawings. Experience from a regulated industry, such as medical technology, food, or automotive, is an advantage.
As a person, you are communicative, collaborative, and confident in driving dialogues with both colleagues and international partners. Accuracy, quality awareness, and a desire to develop are characteristics that define you. You express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing.
