Bridge and Civil Engineer

About the role

We offer you exciting and developing tasks in a creative environment, in close collaboration with our production and with a focus on the overall business. We are often involved throughout the project, from tender to finished project. You will, among other things, work on developing efficient solutions in tenders, perform as well as lead and manage design. Provide technical expertise to our production and drive development and market monitoring.

As a bridge and civil engineer at Peab, you will belong to the Business Area of Civil Engineering and be part of the expert group, Civil Engineering Technology, which supports the business in civil engineering technical issues. The group currently consists of 22 employees mainly within the areas of geotechnics, civil engineering, and BIM. The goal is to expand the group in the coming years with a focus on bridge and civil engineering, and that is where you come in. Civil Engineering Technology has the long-term goal of being Sweden's best technical organization.

Your placement will primarily be at our offices in Gothenburg or Solna. However, there is flexibility as we have offices in several locations.

About you

Someone who truly can and wants to understand the problems in production. At the same time, you need to have patience with others who are just as much specialists in their field as you are in yours. We are looking for someone who is solution-focused and development-oriented and who gains energy from being involved and making an impact.

Depending on the breadth of your previous work, we believe you have at least 10 years of experience working with bridge and civil engineering issues. It is an advantage if you have worked in or close to production.

You have:

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering (with a focus on construction) or equivalent
• Driving license B
• Very good Swedish in speech and writing
• Experience in a leading role in projects and/or teams
