The demand from the mining and construction sector continues to increase significantly, and we are facing an expansive period. Therefore, we are now looking for experienced and skilled welders who want to be part of a close-knit team in a company where quality, craftsmanship, and pride go hand in hand.

As a welder at SLP, you will be part of the department that forms the foundation of our entire production. You will manufacture, among other things, auxiliary frames, platforms, and trailer chassis for our superstructures and after-vehicles – components that must withstand heavy use, high loads, and tough Nordic climates.

The work involves both independence and close collaboration with colleagues in production, blasting, painting, and assembly. For us, quality is central at every stage, and your expertise is directly crucial for our products to maintain the robustness and precision that our customers – such as LKAB – require.

• Weld heavy constructions in steel thicknesses up to about 20 mm
• Work according to drawings and ensure that each step is correct from the start
• Participate in the ongoing development of working methods and quality assurance
• Contribute to good collaboration in the team and a safe working environment
• The position is located in Övertorneå.

We are looking for a welder, preferably with a background in welding heavier constructions. You are used to working from drawings, take responsibility for your work, and have a strong sense of quality.

• Have experience in MIG/MAG welding
• Are practical, meticulous, and confident in your professional role
• Thrive in an environment where everyone is needed and where your contribution truly matters
• Enjoy collaborating but can also work independently when required

If you have experience in manufacturing industry or similar production, it is an advantage – but your craftsmanship and attitude weigh the most.

SLP – Trailers & Truck Superstructures – is an industrial company with production in Övertorneå. We manufacture robust and customized superstructures for trucks that are delivered to Sweden, Norway, and Finland. Here we do everything ourselves: welding, blasting, painting, and assembly. We are about 35 employees who together drive the business forward.
