Bid Manager

The Bid Manager plays a crucial role in managing the entire contract process for government agencies, municipalities, regions, and municipal companies. This involves reviewing tenders, asking relevant questions, and preparing documentation/statistics/references to ensure that Rentokil can submit a qualified bid to the contracting party.

The Bid Manager is responsible for providing all relevant information to Rentokil's operations to deliver according to the submitted bid, both before and during the contract period. Some new customer acquisition is included in the work, and the Bid Manager maintains close communication with contractors and brokers to contribute to Rentokil's results.

Main Responsibilities

Coordinate, organize, and respond to incoming LOU tenders. This includes maintaining contact with the contracting customer throughout the procurement process and coordinating with the regional manager to ensure delivery capability in relation to customer requirements.
Be responsible for coordinating, quality assuring, and implementing new customers as well as relevant documentation that should be saved and forwarded to the receiving region.
Support with statistics as needed and guide a selected group during the procurement process.

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in purchasing, law, economics, or equivalent. Documented previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or bidding processes. Proficient user of various types of system support to perform the work. Very good ability to grasp new tools and working methods. Excellent Swedish in both spoken and written form to understand procurement documents, write bids, and communicate with colleagues, managers, and customers in Swedish. Good English skills in both spoken and written form to understand internal policies, regulations, and communicate with colleagues in other countries.
