About the business

The mission of Kiruna Malmförädling is to refine the ore from mine to finished product. The main parts of the process are screening, concentrating, and pelletizing. The department consists of a total of eight sections, four of which are part of the main process and the other four are support sections within quality, technology and process development, material processes, and maintenance.

Your role

As an electrician focused on automation within Processing, you will have a varied everyday life where you work in an organized manner and collaborate with other functions. We are now looking for automation technicians for Pellet Plants 2 and 3, Concentration Plant 3, and Pellet Plant 4, as well as for our operational maintenance department. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and are looking for someone who is solution-oriented, collaborative, and has a strong safety mindset. Common tasks include electrical installation and smaller projects, general power and lighting, assembly and replacement of instruments, automation systems, and work with power electronics. You will be involved in optimizing control circuits and adapting measuring equipment, as well as working on preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, and supervision controls.

What you bring with you

• High school electrical education or equivalent is a requirement
• Driver's license B (manual transmission) is a requirement
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement
• A couple of years of experience from professions such as electrician, automation technician, or instrumentation technician is meritorious/required depending on the workplace
