Job Advertisement: Street and Park Worker

Tierps Energi & Miljö AB (Temab) is a municipal company with approximately 55 employees tasked with managing the practical execution of essential community services:

• VA, water and sewage: water supply, sewage networks, and treatment plants
• Waste management: waste handling, refuse, and recycling
• Street and park: snow removal, sanding, road maintenance, and care of green areas.

Our group also includes TEMAB District Heating AB, which operates in heat production with distribution in Tierp municipality.

Tierp is conveniently located between Uppsala and Gävle, with proximity to Stockholm, Arlanda, and the entire Mälardalen region. The municipality offers good and varied living environments with nature and culture close at hand, as well as excellent communication by road, rail, and digitally.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Various street and park work including:

• Hedge trimming.
• Weeding.
• Sawing.
• Machine operation.
• Lawn mowing.
• Repairs.
• Maintenance.
• Watering.
• Litter picking.
• Emptying bins.
• Snow removal.
• Supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS

A valid B driver's license is essential as we operate throughout the municipality. Must be able to work independently and in a team. Must be able to handle physically demanding outdoor work regardless of weather and season. Experience with chainsaws, loader licenses, brush cutter licenses, and street and park-related experience, licenses, and training are advantageous.
