About Storängen

Storängen is a nursing home located in the Storäng area of Söderköping.

The residence consists of three houses: Gläntan, Tallgården, and Dalgården.

Gläntan has a total of 18 apartments, of which 8 are for permanent residents and 10 are short-term places. Tallgården has 18 apartments for permanent residents. Dalgården is located a couple of hundred meters away with a total of 32 apartments for permanent residents. You will have a group manager who spends most of their time working closely with you in the operation. Becoming a group manager can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant.

As a nursing assistant, you are incredibly important!

Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyles and habits. You see each person and interpret what they need. At the same time, you learn a lot about care, aging, and how to meet people.

You are closest to the resident and thus have a key role in the team with the nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. You document daily in the social journal Lifecare.

Your experience and knowledge

We prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant and have worked a few years in elderly care. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are also advantageous. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you share our values and have the right qualities, we will support you and provide opportunities for growth.
