ABOUT US

Sonrisagården is a specialized, family-oriented unit with only eight places for girls and boys aged 8–11 years with severe social, behavioral, and emotional issues. We are a professional and safe team focused on being there for the children and helping them get good conditions based on their abilities and needs in life. The operation is a specialized unit for particularly care-intensive children with severe social, behavioral, and emotional problems.

We primarily work based on learning psychological principles and evidence-based methods focusing on CBT, and with the help of low-arousal responses, the staff prevents problem-causing behavior. Other central parts of our treatment plan include solution-focused approaches, positive reinforcement, emotional control, and RePULSE. Through a warm, safe, and permissive environment with high staffing, we aim to restore the child's trust in the adult world. During their placement at Sonrisagården, the children attend Humanas primary school Lanternan in Borlänge, which offers special educational resources and individualized solutions.

We accept placements according to SoL and LVU from all over the country.

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for social pedagogues for temporary positions, both day, evening, and awake night shifts. The treatment work/interventions are guided by individual action plans. You will work in a team with the help of a secure structure and several support functions.

Your main tasks will include:

- Treatment interventions

- Safety-creating activities, such as supervision and care

- HSL interventions such as medication delegation

- External contacts with social services and other authorities

- Documentation

- Daily chores are also included in the job

QUALIFICATIONS

You have at least a 2-year post-secondary education such as treatment/social pedagogue.

It is also meritorious if you:

- have experience with the target group

- have experience in CBT, LAB, RePulse, and/or other evidence-based methods

- have experience in documentation work and medication management

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

You are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good computer skills.

OTHER:

A manual driving license is required for the position.

Salary: By agreement, other compensation follows the Industry E collective agreement
