In Fosie parish, people from different cultural backgrounds and religious affiliations come together. The parish works broadly – with worship development and spiritual deepening, but also with finding new ways to be a church together with others.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare simple meals and set up refreshments for various events
  • Handle dishwashing and ensure the kitchen is organized.
  • Responsible for purchasing food and following regulations regarding food handling
  • Ensure that premises and equipment are fit for purpose
  • Create a welcoming and pleasant environment for our visitors in the parish's premises
  • Be responsible for deliveries between our different churches

Work is carried out at all our workplaces in the parish, so you need to have a B driver's license and access to a car.

Qualifications

  • High school education in restaurant and food programs, large-scale catering, or experience deemed equivalent by the employer
  • Experience in serving and kitchen work
  • Good knowledge of food handling and regulations regarding hygiene and food.
  • Experience in purchasing
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability and competence to work in systems required for the position.
