About the role
We are now looking for a dedicated operations and maintenance technician for day shifts in our facilities department. You will be an important part of our operations organization that works around the clock, but your role will be exclusively during daytime hours, Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:30.
As an operations technician at Silex, you play a central role in the daily operations of our high-tech property and cleanroom environment. You work closely with both property systems and the production environment, contributing to ensuring a safe, stable, and efficient operation.
Your responsibilities include, among others:
- Monitoring and maintenance of the cleanroom environment and its support systems, such as ventilation, cooling systems, purification plants, and compressed air systems.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of support equipment for production.
- Production of ultra-pure water and handling of process gases such as nitrogen, oxygen, and hydrogen.
- Operation and maintenance of Silex's purification plant for process wastewater.
- Property operations based on fault reports and planned maintenance.
- Collaboration with other departments to ensure efficient production and a pleasant working environment.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience in operations and maintenance, preferably with a background in electricity, ventilation, cooling, water purification, gas handling, and/or compressed air. Experience from process industry or cleanroom environments is a plus.
- Broad technical knowledge and the ability to understand how different actions affect technical chains of events.
- Good computer skills and preferably experience in digital documentation and reporting.
- A solution-oriented approach and the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
