We are looking for

We are looking for a resident physician in general medicine. You must have a Swedish medical license and very good knowledge of Swedish, corresponding to level C1. It is an advantage if you have language and cultural competence in Sami.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities. You are a flexible and self-driven person who enjoys taking responsibility and planning your work. You have a structured work style and can adapt to changes when necessary. In addition, you are communicative and have an easy time creating good collaborations with colleagues and other functions.

What you will work with

At our rural health center, we offer a wide range of services including a clinic, general care department, ambulance station, and Resource Center for Sami Health. Since it is a hundred kilometers to the nearest hospital, you will have the opportunity to meet a wide spectrum of patient needs and develop your skills in a varied and stimulating environment. With us, there are experienced supervisors and a team with high competence and good collaboration skills – together we create safe and close care.

Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position with a start date according to agreement, working hours are scheduled during the day. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
