About the Position

As a coordinator, you will have a broad and strategic role where you will be responsible for;

• developing and implementing initiatives in fundraising, with a particular focus on research funding,
• identifying and establishing long-term relationships with individuals, companies, foundations, and other potential donors,
• contributing to research communication and organizing events aimed at donors and the public,
• strengthening the university's alumni activities by building an active network of former students, in close collaboration with institutions and communicators.

You will be a key person in the work of strengthening the university's brand and external relations, and you will be part of the Unit for Continuing Education and External Relations.

We are looking for someone who has/can

• an academic degree or equivalent,
• documented experience of independently managing complex projects,
• experience in fundraising, donation activities, or relationship-based sales,
• strong ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with external stakeholders,
• ability to engage and tailor messages to different target groups – from researchers to funders,
• communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

It is an advantage if you have;

• your own network within relevant groups such as corporate management, philanthropists, and foundations,
• experience in research or collaboration within the university's profile areas: care and welfare, social work, and civil society.

Marie Cederschiöld University is an institution that educates and conducts research in the service of humanity. We train nurses, specialist nurses, social workers, health and medical care counselors, and theologians. Our research focuses on the individual in the welfare society – within nursing science, social work, civil society science, and theology.

The university is located in newly renovated premises at Campus Ersta, Södermalm – with proximity to beautiful views of central Stockholm, good transport links, and close to restaurants and shops. We are a private university organized as a limited company, but without the requirement for profit distribution.
