Matthews Marking Systems is looking for a traveling service technician for a broad and varied role. Matthews Marking Systems is a market leader in developing and producing marking systems for industry, with a range that includes automatic label printers and laser marking systems. In the facilities in Mölndal, you will find a familiar and dynamic environment with all the company's functions, such as development, production, purchasing, and sales. Together, around 55 people work to offer the market's best marking equipment with high quality and reliability.
As a traveling service technician, you will be part of a team consisting of programmers, technical support, and salespeople. The team, as well as the company, is unpretentious, and your employment will begin with a thorough introduction where you will gradually be introduced to tasks and responsibilities.
The role requires that you are technically skilled and service-oriented, constantly striving to provide the best service to your customers. You will primarily work on-site with customers for installation, troubleshooting, and repair of Matthews Marking Systems products, but you will also contribute to internal service work in the department.
You will, among other things:
- Perform service, repairs, and installations on-site with customers.
- Provide technical support and advice on-site and via phone/email.
- Participate in service work and improvement initiatives in the department.
- Document completed work and report deviations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Has a YH education in electrical/electronics, automation, or a field that the employer assesses as equivalent, alternatively;
- Has relevant work experience from similar tasks.
- Has good knowledge of automation, mechanics, and electronics, both theoretically and practically.
- Has a great general interest in technology and the desire to continue developing your skills.
- Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish and has good knowledge of English in speech and writing, as both languages are used in daily work.
- Has a B driver's license and is flexible with travel in southern Sweden.
It is meritorious if you:
- Have knowledge and experience in PLC programming and/or data communication.
