The Health and Care Administration provides services, support, care, and assistance to the elderly and people with disabilities, as well as being responsible for authority operations according to applicable legislation. The administration operates within elderly care, LSS, social psychiatry, health care, family support, and authority operations. All work is performed with the resident in focus based on the value foundation: response, participation, trust, and security. Together we make each other better and work to achieve the vision of quality of life throughout life.

The position is at a short-term accommodation for children. We work according to the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Disabilities and support our users in creating a meaningful everyday life. With us, 30 children alternate who have different numbers of days in their orders. This means that you need to be flexible and adaptable in your work as the target group is varied and thus has a varied need for support measures.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a support assistant with coordinating tasks, you will work as a support assistant in user-centered work and be part of the regular work group. In addition to this, you have special responsibility for staffing, coordinating, planning, and prioritizing daily tasks.

As a support assistant, you will work based on the user's needs with support in personal care, daily life, leisure, health and functional ability, relationships, as well as creating participation and influence. Structure and clarity are important, and we work based on the users' implementation plans.

In your role as a coordinator, you will provide support to your colleagues and drive issues regarding planning, quality, and collaboration. Supporting your colleagues in daily work is an important task for this role. To be able to do this, you need to have very good knowledge of documentation and staffing systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

You need to have completed your education as a childcare worker, nursing assistant, or equivalent education and have knowledge in AAC, clarifying pedagogy, motivational interviewing, and low-arousal responses. You should also have experience working within LSS. Previous work with children with special needs and knowledge of sign language is advantageous. A driver's license is also an advantage. To prioritize your workday, it is necessary that you have previous experience working within LSS and have previously held a coordinating role or similar tasks.

You have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You enjoy working in a structured manner, both independently and together with others. You are brave, secure in uncertain situations, and have the ability to find solutions by being unpretentious with a focus on the common goal. You are flexible, attentive, and communicate in a constructive manner.

As a person, you have a genuine interest in our target group and want to drive issues that increase the target group's quality of life. You are calm and secure, have a positive attitude and good self-awareness, maintain a realistic perspective on situations, and focus on the right things. You have the ability to work both in a group and independently and take your own initiatives. You often come up with ideas. You work well with others and take pride in your profession.
