About the company

Skellefteå Airport is Västerbotten's second largest airport with a strategic location between Luleå and Umeå. We are owned by Skellefteå municipality and have about 300,000 travelers per year. We offer scheduled flights to Arlanda and Gdansk as well as charter trips to popular destinations such as Rhodes, Crete, Croatia, Gran Canaria, Andorra, and Lefkas/Parga.

We are one of the world's first fossil-free airports and have significant growth plans. A lot is happening with us – from international traffic flight schools to new destinations. As an employee, you will be an important part of our continued development.

Your tasks

As an airport employee on the landside, you will work broadly and variably. Your tasks include:

• Security control and monitoring
• Check-in of travelers
• Cleaning between departures

We work according to the Basic Airport concept, which means you will gain competence in several areas and become part of a strong team of about 20 people. The work is shift-based according to three teams with early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.

Your background/Your qualities

We believe that you as a person are service-oriented, meticulous, and communicative. You are comfortable working both independently and in a team.

Requirements:

• At least 18 years old.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
• Good computer skills.

Meritorious:

• Experience from the airport and travel industry or similar work.
• TRAC training.
• Knowledge of Altéa.
