Working as a nurse at WeMind

As a nurse at WeMind, you work both independently and as part of a team with doctors and psychologists to ensure good care and nursing for patients. 

You act as a primary care contact with the task of coordinating care around the patient, where you maintain close follow-up contact and offer them advice and evaluation of ongoing care using self-assessments as tools. Main responsibilities:

• Advice
• Medication management
• Follow-up of medication treatment and sampling
• Care planning
• Annual checks
• Patient and family education
• Structured conversations regarding crisis management, anxiety management, and suicide prevention

Your new workplace

WeMind Gröndal is a psychiatric outpatient clinic where we treat patients with psychotic disorders, including the investigation of new-onset psychotic disorders. We also accept patients with diagnosed autism and low functioning levels. 

We offer a structured workplace located in Gröndal, close to good transport links. The unit has an active and close leadership, short decision-making paths, and colleagues who collaborate and exchange experiences. 

About you

• Licensed nurse, specialization in psychiatry is an advantage
• Several years of experience in a similar role within psychiatry is an advantage

We are looking for someone with an interest in the varied work and multifaceted mission of being a nurse in psychiatry. You are professional in your approach and prioritize putting the patient first, ensuring good quality in care. 

You are responsible and have a good ability to plan and organize your work. At the same time, you are flexible and accustomed to making assessments and decisions in consultation with doctors and nursing staff. You have a positive attitude and find the social work environment and team spirit important.
