About the operation:

Vallentuna has two SÄBO in its own management, Korallen and Väsbygården nursing home. The health and medical care staff have close collaboration between the residences and also a common unit manager. We are now expanding our workgroup and are therefore looking for several nurses to join our wonderful team. We are looking for a nursing responsible nurse and 1 nurse who will function as a mobile nurse between both residences.

We work in teams and help each other across boundaries, thus flexibility is a requirement in our organization as well as our strength. We who work here are of varying ages, both men and women, and we have fun together with many happy laughs at the lunch table. We are a cross-professional team with different competencies, nurses, rehab, and dietitians, who work based on a person-centered and salutogenic approach.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse within SÄBO, you have an overall responsibility where the work involves acute and planned interventions for the residents. The role includes guidance, training, and leadership in nursing for the staff at the residence. In your role, you will create and maintain good relationships with residents, relatives, and other professional categories.

During evenings and weekends, the on-duty nurse also has a consulting assignment at the municipality's various LSS operations. This includes, among other things, telephone consultation with advice for the support assistants working there. A recurring task is to administer medication as needed, which is administered by delegated staff at the LSS operations.

We work based on national quality registers and the work is based on a person-centered approach according to the residents' needs. You are an active player together with the team around the resident.

Nurses' working hours are distributed during the day and evening until 7 PM and weekends on a rolling schedule.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with at least 2 years of professional experience
• Experience working with people with cognitive diseases
• Proficient in the Swedish language in speech and writing
• Driver's license B
