Here, we work closely with our clients and each other. You will have an independent and varied job with responsibility for care services. Together, we create safety and quality of life for our clients – every shift. Job Responsibilities – What will you do? As a home care worker, you will work in clients' homes based on care decisions and individual implementation plans. During weekend shifts, your tasks may include:
- Personal care – assistance with hygiene, dressing and undressing, and toilet visits.
- Meal support – assistance with cooking, serving, and meals.
- Social support and companionship – contributing to safety, comfort, and community.
- Supervision – preventive and follow-up visits.
- Practical tasks – such as shopping, laundry, or simple household chores.
- Support colleagues – cover and redistribute tasks as needed to ensure safety and continuity for clients.
- Collaboration – contribute to good communication within the team and a safe working environment.
- Emergency alarms – quickly respond to urgent needs from clients who have alerted. We work on behalf of Österåker municipality and are responsible for both regular home care tasks and handling emergency alarms between 07:00 and 22:30. This means a varied assignment with both planned and more urgent interventions.
Who are you?

- Independent but cooperative – you take your own initiatives but also support colleagues.
- Attentive and professional – you meet clients and colleagues with respect and care.
- Digitally savvy – comfortable documenting on mobile and digital systems.
- B driver's license – you are a safe driver with good local knowledge.
Working hours and employment forms:
Working hours: day shifts from 07:15 – 15:30 or evening shifts from 15:30 – 22:30. Employment: part-time (weekend work), with the possibility to extend with hourly employment as needed. Location: you will be based at our office in Österåker, and we prefer that you live nearby.
