Licensed Nurse for Arjeplog Health Center

REGION NORRBOTTEN

22 days left
to apply for the job

Welcome to Arjeplog Health Center – a workplace with dedicated and competent colleagues who support each other and work together.
Here, independent work is combined with teamwork, always with the patient's best interests in focus.

We are looking for

We are looking for a licensed nurse with good knowledge of Swedish, corresponding to level C1. It is an advantage if you have specialist training in emergency care or are a district nurse. We would also like you to have experience working in emergency care, primary care, or as a general nurse. Knowledge of other languages, such as English, is also valuable. You should have good computer skills and preferably previous experience working with the Cosmic journal system.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. You are stable and secure in your professional role, have the ability to adapt to different situations, and work independently with good structure. You also find it easy to collaborate and contribute to a positive and professional work environment.

What you will work with

As a nurse with us, you will have a varied and stimulating job that combines independence with close teamwork. You will work with advice via phone, chat, and physical visits, and have your own booked patients. Your role includes receiving and assessing patients with acute medical conditions – everything from minor ailments to potentially life-threatening situations. Assessments are made both independently and together with doctors or other colleagues.

Our health center is located over 20 miles from the nearest hospital, which means you will have significant responsibility and the opportunity to broaden your skills in both acute and general care. You also play an important role in collaboration with other healthcare providers, such as the municipality and inpatient care.
Primary care is characterized by meetings with people of all ages and life situations. Together with the patient, we follow health developments over time, where a holistic view is central to every assessment.

Our health center is located in a rural area with a large geographical catchment area – both towards neighboring municipalities in Norrbotten and Västerbotten as well as towards Norway. We have under 2,500 listed patients, but also receive many tourists and car testers during the winter season.
At the workplace, there are about 20 employees from different professional categories, and the ambulance staff is integrated into the operations. We actively work to develop our working methods to meet the future needs of primary care. The combination of rural areas and emergency services places high demands on competence – and gives you the opportunity to take on significant responsibility and grow in your professional role.
