SALESPERSON OR SALES SEAMSTRESS

About the Job

Skräddarhuset Malmö is a unique combination of bridal and event store with its own tailoring service, located in a beautiful turn-of-the-century building on Fersens Väg in Malmö. We offer a wide range of ready-to-wear dresses from both Swedish and international brands, as well as a sustainable selection of reused dresses and our own design collection, Reloved Bridal.

We are now looking for a salesperson or sales seamstress who wants to work in an inspiring, varied, and customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Help our customers find the right dress for their big day
• Provide service and create a welcoming store environment
• Rearrange displays and keep the store clean, tidy, and inspiring
• Some administration
• Social media content (e.g., Instagram posts, reels, and stories)
• For those who are seamstresses: in addition to sales, also perform professional sewing and fitting adjustments according to customer requests.

We are looking for someone who

• Is service-minded, positive, and enjoys meeting people
• Is open to developing and learning new things
• Has experience from retail or service jobs
• Is organized and self-sufficient
• Can speak and write fluent Swedish and has a good command of English.

Seamstress

• Has experience in sewing and some pattern construction
• Is confident in adjusting, altering, and working with bridal gowns
• Is meticulous, methodical, and quality-conscious
• Can plan and structure your work independently
• Handles busy periods calmly and professionally
• Reads customers' needs and is passionate about creating satisfied customers
• Having a journeyman's certificate is a merit but not a requirement

Working Hours

• Tue–Fri: 12–18
• Every other Sat: 11–15
• The position is 60% which can be extended to 100% during certain periods.

Start Date

No later than April 1 or earlier by agreement. The position may be filled before the application period ends.
