Stockholm Cemetery Administration is Hiring Cemetery Workers

The Stockholm Cemetery Administration is responsible for burial operations in Stockholm. The administration conducts burial and service activities with high ethical standards and is responsible for 12 cemeteries, 13 chapels, a ceremony building, and 2 crematoria with significant cultural and historical value.

Job Responsibilities

Your main job responsibilities will include working with grave openings and restorations, monument work such as gravestones, and performing minor construction work and gardening as needed.

You will be involved in improvement work, workplace safety, and working to streamline operations.

During winter, scheduled on-call duty may occur for snow and ice management on weekends and other holidays.

Your Skills and Experience

We are looking for someone who has;

• Driver's license (B)
• Experience operating and handling machinery.
• Good computer skills and can work fluently in the Office suite and various IT systems.

You must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious

It is an advantage if you have experience in a similar role within park/property maintenance, operations/construction, and/or qualifications for excavators/construction machinery.
