In Ludvika, children and youth are important! We demonstrate this by making children and youth the center of the municipal organization. Most resources directed towards children and youth have been gathered under one committee. This includes preschools, primary schools, adapted primary schools, and also individual and family care. The Workplace

Individual and family care is part of the Social and Education Administration in Ludvika Municipality. We have about 100 employees organized into five units: Investigation Unit, Support and Welfare Unit, Foster Care and Family Law Unit, Open Care Unit, and Ami.

The Foster Care and Family Law Unit consists of three functional groups and is led by a unit manager together with two senior social workers.

Your Qualifications

A degree in social work is a requirement. We are looking for someone who can express themselves clearly in speech and writing and has insight into how their approach affects families. You have the ability to make assessments and make well-motivated and legally secure decisions. You have good collaboration skills and solid knowledge of BBIC and relevant legislation. We would prefer candidates with experience in the field.

The position requires a B driver's license.

About the Position

The position is varied and includes several different tasks that require high competence in the field. It demands the ability to structure work, collaborate internally and externally, and maintain legally secure processing in all work tasks. Since our placed children and youth can be located throughout the country, the position involves some travel that may entail long days and/or overnight stays.
