JOB DESCRIPTION

As a warehouse administrator, you play an important support role for the prison and remand center.

You will work with varied tasks, including both administration and physical work.

Your tasks will include handling cases regarding clients' possession of personal belongings and package inspections.

The work also involves tasks such as unpacking, searching, and recording clients' belongings, issuing belongings, packing and distributing or sending clients' belongings during leave, transfers, or when clients are released. You will also be responsible for requesting quotes according to framework agreements, invoice management, purchasing consumables, office supplies, clothing, as well as inventory management and internal distribution of these within the prison.

QUALIFICATIONS

Your personal qualities are important. For the job, you need to understand the current regulations and security routines to make well-founded assessments based on them. Since the work involves writing decisions, good documentation skills are also required, along with basic computer skills, and you must be meticulous and organized. You should have good collaboration skills and be flexible to support operations based on the needs that may arise.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Completed upper secondary education or other education combined with work experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant
• Work experience, preferably from warehouse work, security work, or case management
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing
• Good computer skills

It is an advantage if you have:

• Knowledge in relevant areas, such as law or previous experience in decision-making in public administration
• Experience from the correctional system or another part of the justice system
• Experience in security work and security assessments
• Forklift license
• Driving license B
