Environmental Worker/Waste Collection Driver (Skaraborg)

The company assists municipalities and businesses with services in waste management, sludge and water supply, recycling, transport, and contracting. About the position

We at Ohlssons are looking for an Environmental Worker/Waste Collection Driver with a C driver's license for our waste management operations in Skaraborg. In this role, you will have a varied day in the field, with meaningful work that contributes to a sustainable future. Your tasks mainly consist of collecting household waste according to planned schedules with our right-hand drive side-loading waste collection vehicles.

It is important that you are meticulous so that all bins are emptied, and that you take responsibility for ensuring that the work is carried out in a safe and secure manner. You are an important ambassador for Ohlssons, meeting many customers, so it is essential that you have a positive attitude and enjoy providing good service.

We are looking for someone who has:

• C driver's license.
• Valid YKB (Professional Driver Certificate).
• Experience in the driving profession, preferably with experience in the waste management industry.
• Basic IT skills.
• Good communication skills in Swedish.
• Local knowledge of the region is an advantage.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a six-month probationary period. Location is Falköping, alternatively Skara or Vara depending on your place of residence.
