Skärlagskolan is located in central Trosa, close to forests and beautiful nature. We are a F-6 school with after-school care and approximately 420 students. The municipality's adapted primary school is part of the school's operations.

We have a newly built school with creative facilities. Skärlagskolan is a school where there is a high level of engagement among the staff. We have a high proportion of certified teachers.

The school has a student health team that includes special teachers, school nurses, counselors, school psychologists, and school management. We have after-school staff assigned to classes, special teachers, SVA teachers, and study counselors, all to meet the students' needs.

In your role with us, you will support the students' development and learning in school and after-school care. An important task is to create inspiring and challenging learning environments for students during their time in after-school care. You, along with your colleagues, will be responsible for content and work to promote each child's development and learning. Your responsibility includes creating good relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

We place great importance on your ability to collaborate with all colleagues at the school. The educators work closely together throughout the student's entire school day with us. It is important that you contribute your experience, knowledge, and creative abilities in various ways for the development of students and the organization.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You have:

• University education, Teacher for after-school care or leisure educator
• Documented experience of working as a leisure educator/teacher for after-school care
• Pedagogical awareness and knowledge to interpret and concretize the goals of the curriculum

We want you to be able to use your experiences and competencies to contribute to an exciting, stimulating educational environment where the student is in focus. We expect a professional approach to students and parents in various forums.

You have a positive attitude and a solution-oriented approach, always with the student's best interests in mind.

To succeed and thrive with us, you need to have a good ability to collaborate, be attentive, and easily put yourself in other people's perspectives. You need to be secure in yourself, stable, and have good self-awareness. It is also important that you are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances in the organization. You have a good understanding of how children absorb knowledge and the different conditions for learning. You are proactive and can initiate activities in the organization.
