Preschool Teacher at Länna Preschool

Our unit consists of five preschools located in the Åker, Länna, and Mariefred areas. We are now looking for a preschool teacher for a temporary position at Länna Preschool in Merlänna! The temporary position is full-time and runs until July 4, 2026.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a preschool teacher, you contribute to a positive and developing educational environment. You see the pedagogical relationships as the focal point of quality and have a conscious teaching approach that permeates the entire educational day for the children at preschool, where care, education, and learning form a whole. It is important for us that you value, are highly engaged in, and want to work closely with the children.

As a preschool teacher with us, you will participate in an ongoing improvement process. We offer collegial learning in various forums such as development groups, preschool teacher forums, workshops, and professional development initiatives at both local and central levels. In the fall of 2025, we will start an exciting R&D program in collaboration with Stockholm University, where we will work with researchers to develop our teaching for sustainability. All employees will be involved in this in various ways.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has/is:

• A licensed preschool teacher with a qualifying degree.
• Experienced in using IT as a support in work.
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Several years of experience working as a preschool teacher.
• Further education or training in areas such as supervision, special education, norm creativity, or digitalization.

We are looking for a driven preschool teacher with good leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and lead colleagues in the work team. You have social competence and good collaboration skills. You can handle conflicts in a sensitive and constructive manner. Furthermore, you are a structured and responsible person who plans and prioritizes your work effectively. It is also important that you can provide good conditions for our children's learning and development and demonstrate a strong interest in it.
