We are looking for experienced nursing assistants for hourly employment at the Emergency Department at Danderyd Hospital.

You will be offered

• Newly built at Sweden's largest emergency department: Your work is located in our emergency and treatment building that was built in the autumn of 2019. In early June, parts of the Emergency Department moved into another completely new building. Here we run Sweden's largest emergency department with commitment and responsibility as guiding principles.
• Flexible solutions: We are interested in you who wish to work day/evening, three shifts, or night on an hourly basis. We are flexible.
• Close to the city and staff parking: Commuting is smooth as we have both subway and buses running between Stockholm city and Danderyd Hospital. If you drive, you can use our staff parking for the price of 30 SEK/day (free at night).

Who we are looking for

We are looking for you who are a nursing assistant with adequate education and who enjoys teamwork and community, as well as highly values good patient care. You have at least three years of experience in emergency care, preferably within the emergency department, pre-hospital, or another acute care ward. We are interested in you who wish to work as an hourly employee day/evening, night, and half-night. You have the opportunity to work at least 8 weeks during the summer period of 2026.

You are a person who values collaboration, communication, professional interaction, and good relationships in the workplace both with colleagues within and outside the organization as well as with patients. You find exchange and knowledge sharing important and have a helpful and service-oriented attitude and value diversity. You are responsible, flexible, enjoy variation and development, and are good at seeing the big picture.

About the operation

Danderyd Hospital has one of the country's largest emergency departments, and we are over 200 employees. The adult emergency department operates around-the-clock reception for seriously injured and acutely ill patients, primarily from northern Stockholm. We receive about 95,000 patients per year distributed across Internal Medicine, Neurology, Cardiology, General Surgery including Urology and Orthopedics. Our emergency care building (2019) provides us with good conditions to develop the acute care of our patients.
