JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a care assistant at Videbo, a special accommodation in Veddige, you contribute to a safe and meaningful everyday life for the residents. You become part of an engaged and pleasant workgroup where collaboration, care, and good communication are in focus.

You work closely with the residents and provide support in everyday situations, including personal care, meals, activities, and social interaction. You are attentive to changes in health and needs, document interventions simply and clearly in our journal systems, and participate in carrying out activities such as walks, games, or music sessions that enhance the quality of life for the residents.

The work involves day and evening shifts as well as working every other weekend. As an employee of Varberg Municipality, you can also work resource shifts in other units within the area, such as Rolfstorp and Kungsäter, which provides variety and the opportunity to meet new colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified care assistant
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Has a B driver's license
• Experience in care and support, preferably from special accommodations, is an advantage
