Blomsterfonden – for a safer and richer life for the elderly

Blomsterfonden is a non-profit organization that works to ensure that the elderly have a safe home, professional care, and a meaningful everyday life.

We operate five senior residences with vibrant social communities, our own home care service, and four nursing homes where safe care is the focus. Our goal is to give elderly people a richer life – filled with community, care, and joy of life. Our work is permeated by our ethical values: humanity, participation, clarity, and honesty.

The association was founded in 1921 by Alma Hedin. Under her leadership, a special spirit emerged – the Blomsterfonden spirit – which still characterizes our operations today. We continue Alma's work by cherishing what is at the core of every human life: recognizing the individual's capacity, will, and emotional life.

Blomsterfonden also actively works to support relatives. We organize and participate in various forums to spread knowledge about the needs and living situations of the elderly.

Blomsterfonden is a non-profit organization that has existed since 1921. At Blomsterfonden, we work together to provide our residents, members, and clients with a safe and dignified old age based on their needs and wishes.

We mainly operate within four nursing homes and our own home care service in Stockholm and Danderyd. Our daily work is characterized by humanity, clarity, participation, and honesty.

We are very pleased with the excellent results we have received in both the Socialstyrelsen satisfaction survey and the employee survey. We are located in Greater Stockholm, and as an employee, you will become part of our community of about 500 employees.

We are looking for you who are a qualified nursing assistant and have a few years of work experience in the profession. Experience in dementia care is especially meritorious.

In the care work, you will work closely with the resident, which means that based on approved interventions according to SoL, you will support the resident with ADL training, rehabilitation, social contacts, personal hygiene, meal support, etc.

Saltsjösten is a brand new care and nursing home in Fisksätra center.

Qualifications

You should be a trained nursing assistant (1500 credits) and be able to provide proof from the Socialstyrelsen regarding protected professional title. Experience in dementia care is highly meritorious. You are a person who demonstrates a good attitude towards residents, relatives, and colleagues. It is important that you have good communication skills and are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good computer skills.

Other

The work is scheduled for day/evening shifts and every other weekend.

Salary according to agreement. Blomsterfonden applies individual salary setting.

The workplace is covered by a collective agreement.
